Junior Library Volunteers (JLV)
For teens in grades 7-12
Do you want to volunteer at the library? Join our team of emerging teen leaders. Make a positive impact in your community, working with adult mentors and peers on projects at the library. We meet twice a month and work on various projects. This group can help teens fulfill required volunteer service hours and prepare for future college and career opportunities.
Introductory Session: Monday, Oct. 8 at 3:30-4:30pm

Thursday Volunteer Session: Nov. 1 at 7-8pm
Work in a team to complete group service projects with local community organizations. Projects vary each month and include making lunches for the homeless, writing letters to veterans and prepping for library book sales.
Saturday Volunteer Sessions: Oct. 27 and Nov. 24 at 3-4pm
Become a “Book Wrangeler” at the library and help setup book displays, write reviews and share your favorite books with other bibliophiles at our Teen Reader's Lounge program
Additional volunteer project opportunities may be available, including event support - assist librarians during programs and events for children, including craft programs, science and technology events, and more. Programs vary each month.
